Prati recently joined Konica Minolta and UPM Raflatac for a Label Roadshow, with the theme, “Print the Difference.” Promoted by Konica Minolta Business Solutions Italia, Prati was chosen as a trusted partner for finishing during the February 6-7 event in Medolla (Modena, Italy).

The 2025 edition will take place in four regions: Veneto, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, and Campania, with the Italian headquarters of Konica Minolta overseeing all organizational details for the first time. The event is entirely dedicated to digital label printing and embellishment, and it offers an opportunity to explore the new Konica label printing systems and roll-to-roll digital embellishment solutions, showcasing the strengths of a complete end-to-end workflow: from printing to label finishing, including diecutting and protection with flexo varnishes.

Prati’s part of the finishing segment includes DIGI COMPACT, a compact and ergonomic solution providing a high-performance digital finishing line. Easy to use, highly intuitive, and fully customizable, it can combine analog and digital technologies across a wide range of materials, from 12 to 350 microns. This multitasking machine can be configured for roll-to-roll, roll-to-sheet, and roll-to-stack processes, all in one system. Additionally, its reduced paper path ensures significant waste reduction during setup.

For materials, UPM Raflatac, a global producer of self-adhesive label materials in rolls, has contributed to the event’s success.

The Label Printing Roadshow provides the opportunity to:

  • Verify printing results on premium labels for the food, wine, cosmetics, and industrial sectors
  • Assess how digital systems can complement traditional printing technologies to handle short runs and high levels of customization
  • Print labels with white ink in a single pass, achieving high opacity levels
  • Examine digitally embellished samples first-hand
